This is the actual teaser for the show where my namesake in the UK gets some advice on selling their home. While Dave and I have exchanged emails more than a decade ago, we do not stay in touch and I really know very little about him. Still, he was on TV and so I can honestly say that Dave Kinchlea was on TV :-)

With a three-hour commute to Dad’s new job (and to the family’s temporary crash pad in the neighbourhood), the Kinchleas are desperate to sell their three-bedroom, Victorian mid-terrace home in Bow, East London… But after ten months on the market, only ten viewings, and not a single offer, they fear their upside-down lifestyle may be permanent. The home features a great location and plenty of period charm. But its phantom fourth bedroom, cluttered kitchen, over-personalized bedrooms, and overall shabby interiors are turning potential buyers off. Even a £40,000 price cut hasn’t made a difference.
